Srđan Popović, B. Eng. Linux Lecturer at Computing Center, School of Electrical Engineering (RCETF), University of Belgrade
Srđan Popović received his degree at the University of Belgrade. Currently works at the Computing Center of School of Electrical Engineering. He is involved in design, testing, deployment and maintenance of Linux and open source based systems. These systems cover a broad range from conventional standalone systems to complex virtualised environments and variety of different usage scenarios.
He first came into contact with Linux and open source software some 20 years ago, at the very early age of Linux expansion, and has since participated in various projects from smb to large scale deployments. These projects cover technologies such as web, mail, file and printer sharing, networking, vpn, databases, software development to name a few.
Srđan is also in charge of Linux Academy at the Computing Center of School of Electrical Engineering, where he also teaches. Topics covered vary from beginner to advanced, and are synchronized with all relevant international certification bodies programs.
